Issacman for the NASA seat for stuff like this.I always liked, from the 1950’s, the pulsed fission Project Orion. In this case, pulsed fission means dropping a nuclear bomb out the back and riding the shock wave.

I’m a big fan of the idea that we need to normalize and risk reduce the operational environment of space. Research into birth of the universe and such is great but the reality is until we can lower the risk/cost to participate in space that will remain a closed off Venue for state level functions only when it benefits power/policy and the occasional dumb social event like putting Katy Perry into barely orbit.
