Smith & Wesson released "Version 2 dot oh" of the beloved M&P service pistol. I believe this was a result of the refinements introduced to compete for the Joint Modular Handgun Program.
I'm a long time M&P shooter - and its my current tool of choice in USPSA (Performance Center, 5 inch barrel).
