Big XO gets a kill flying the tanker line. What's next, a Growler gets in a 1v1 and shoots an AMRAAM?
VFA gets another air-air kill? The frequency over the last 20 years is about the same now...What's next, a Growler gets in a 1v1 and shoots an AMRAAM?

Slight sidenote, but on that, remember back in 2011 when right after bin Laden was killed, Walt Disney Corporation tried to trademark "SEAL Team 6"?Everything WC is so incredibly frustrating.. As a further point, a good friend of mine toiled for several years to publish a great book highlighting Naval Aviation. Because his book was created in partnership with the Navy he had to have DoD licensing and approval; part of the stated reason this occurs is to protect the “brand of Naval Aviation”. Anyway anything I see Ward seemingly make up another set of dEEp iNTeL it’s intensely frustrating his for-profit silliness is not held to the same standard. Anyway back to our scheduled programming - well done helo bubbas!!
That was probably a "Leave the gun, take the cannoli" moment for someone.Slight sidenote, but on that, remember back in 2011 when right after bin Laden was killed, Walt Disney Corporation tried to trademark "SEAL Team 6"?
This would make sense - keeps the helo outside of the bad guy's effective range.A buddy of mine said he heard it was AGM-114 x 3. If that’s actually true, I wonder if it’s the first Navy helo engagement with that weapon.
