Sen. Feinstein Resigns Military Appropriations Post

If there is a shred of truth in that claim, she should resign from the Senate...or suffer the fate of the Duke.

Her ass should have been out of the political game when she willfully disrupted a police investigation and used privelaged information to make a political example of her being tough on crime for the election year.

Had Fienstien shut her damn trap and let the Police department work the case without her need to help it Richard Ramirez (the Night Stalker) would have been in jail a hell of a lot sooner then he was.

Never heard of this one, can you explain further?

Edit: Just read about it, it seems debatable to me whether or not her revelations caused him to flee back to LA. It is an assumption that he did it in reaction to her news conference, did he ever say he did it because of that? If not, it is a presumption and not a fact......

During the course of the investigation the LA Police were very close to closing in on Ramirez when the the story broke that two previous murders in SF fit the overall profile of the Ramirez killings. In order to "quell the panic" then Mayor Feinstien went on and did a press and media event and talked openly about many factors of the case which LA detectives specifically requested she not mention. One of the biggest ways that Police had tied Ramirez to all the scenes was that he wore a very specific tennis shoe, after the story broke Ramirez went out of his way to specifically alter his MO and the shoes went over the side of a bridge. Thus the investigators were left to start from scratch one of the countries deadliest serial killers, all because she felt the need to take confidential information relevant to the investion for her self made media zoo.
 
Sen. Feinstien believes in a few things...

Guns.. For her, she's "important". Not you, you are not important. (she has one of 4 Concealed Weapons Permits in San Fran, but pushed gun control endlessly)
Military Contractors & Conglomerates should be scrutinized.. Unless she stands to profit. See current situation.
