So... are we calling it Carrier Battle Group or what?
I was there, Brian McGrath was selling the VTOL carriers and Jerry Hendrix was selling medium CATOBAR carriers.

What I don't get is the fact that they're selling that the SCS is a ticking time bomb, but the solution is a 2048 CAG.

These guys equate themselves to the folks who challenged the gun club in favor of carriers in between the world wars. But I've yet to see them champion something new that could usurp the carrier. Instead they recycle old ideas such as lots of tomahawks or SCS. They seem to be far more reactionary than revolutionary.
