The Wiener wasn't bad, once you got used to the idea that anything beyond looking at it cross-eyed required a trim change. Not nearly as hard as the T-34C.

Is the T-6B hard to fly?
Whatever they do, it’s a sign their career is over.

Is that across all communities? I can see how for aviators it'd be a sign you were getting sent out of the game as it seems the epitome of a non-production gig but is it as much of a black hole for every other designator?
Related: I've been seeing these columns by a female former Marine LTC who was in charge of the female instruction at Paris Island and wrote a book about it, she's been pretty vocal about training standards for females in the military so it's gotten her a lot of press time, so it's just interesting to hear that that's a job you don't want for your career.
It's a little different having a job like that as an O-5 since you can make 20 without another promotion, than as an O-3 on your 2nd tour.
My presumption was that the question was regarding JOs. I can't imagine any of the URL or RL communities valuing that kind of tour.Is that across all communities? FWIW, Lt Col Kate Germano got fired from that job. While I applaud her effort to raise the standards in training female Marines, her leadership style apparently did not mesh well with those she worked with and for. I probably won't read her book, but based on her Twitter posts, she's an adherent to the standard litany of grievances against our evil patriarchal society. If she hadn't been fired, nobody would give her the time of day.
That's a great point I hadn't considered. I have yet to find any political candidate I like enough to give them money. So you won't donate to the looming congressional campaign then sir?
I don’t think that’s true for lots of USMC ground MOS’sWhatever they do, it’s a sign their career is over.
No doubt. I'm speaking for the Navy side.I don’t think that’s true for lots of USMC ground MOS’s
