Why such a specific ask? Why India? Not sure if we have a PEP program going with them, but one never knows. There are potential negative career implications.
I will be honest...I love Indian food lol. But why are there negative career implications? My thoughts: Hmm, he went abroad and learned about a foreign naval service, what harm could that do?
You want to do it for the food? I’ve been to India, have you? It’s a giant shithole. You want Indian food, hit an Indian restaurant. Don’t go live there.

Make sure to give a trigger warning before you start talking about shithole countries. You want to do it for the food? I’ve been to India, have you? It’s a giant shithole. You want Indian food, hit an Indian restaurant. Don’t go live there.

Take a look at the "Golden Path" and figure out where you can do a PEP tour (hint: it's not there). Most folks that do a PEP tour, do it while going "off-track". If you are not doing a production tour or flying, you are not on glideslope and are at peril of being a terminal fill-in-the-blank filling an all important non-flying staff tour.I will be honest...I love Indian food lol.
