Nice. That's good because then you look like a badass who died in an explosion rather than a dumbass who has snot all over his face.
.... Helo guys don't wear O2 masks....

It is the stupid question thread after all.He could make you clean it. It appears that you have all the requisite skills for a job that requires you to do nothing but what you are told.
Yea, it seems to be a stupid answer thread too. Seriously though, does an O2 mask wearer get snot faced? It is the stupid question thread after all.

Do helicopters have Oxygen masks? If so what happens since most don't have missiles?
Stupid question, does the USMC do its own depot mx on C-130s or do they share resources with the USAF?
Thanks. I was asking because I thought a saw Fat Albert parked over by the depot hangar at Tinker a couple months back, but couldn't be sure.Pretty sure the AF does it.
Patent is applied for. Should have number soon, but the filing date is what is the usual tiebreaker.

Helos do not typically have O2 in the aircraft. If you are operating in an environment that could require oxygen masks, then a "backpack" like device can be rigged to the back of the seat that will contain the O2 equipment.
The only helo pilots I've ever heard actually using it was test pilots.
In my 5 squadron tours, I have never heard of a squadron actually having the equipment to install. If we needed it, I guess we would have to ask our Wing and then I don't know if they would even have it.
So, the answer is, a helo can be fitted with an O2 system for the pilots, but it is incredibly rare to actually install it.
