There are template son the program websites for these type of things. but you should also be working with your command YNs for something liek that

I am applying for Intel and PAO. You are correct, the YN’s are unfamiliar with locating any generic templates. I will double check though if they can find any prior or recent packages submitted to confirm formatting. I plan to speak with my AO once they have returned from leave as well to hopefully get better gouge.

Hello all, I was just accpeted into the CEC by direct accession. I was told that I didnt have an OCS date yet and I would be contacted soon to begin the process. Does anyone know how long it usually takes before an OCS date is assigned? I have already passed MEPS. thank you

Direct your YN1s to the SWO PA. There is a sample template there.

You'll get one when you're assigned essentially. It could be anywhere during the FY.

Have you ever heard of them shortening an OCS class? Getting conflicting information about our class. Some say that it's getting shortened so they don't have to bring others back from the holidays.

Is there a master list somewhere in this thread of what to bring/what to buy at the NEX when you get to OCS? I've seen some things online like bring an extra towel, extra white t-shirts and a plastic clipboard. Other than that it seems like it's kind of a crapshoot. Some say you don't need everything on the list they give you, but never really specify what you don't need. Still combing through this thread and other threads online.

The clipboard is borderline useless. Everyone buys them, and the only thing they get used for is making your bed and it doesn't really help that much to make a significant difference.

The classes ahead of you will pass down these types of items before you get too far into the program. Same goes for cleaning supplies, don't buy cleaning supplies unless you're a clean freak and need to mop every day.

It would help to have tide pods that way you don't need to worry about waiting to go to the NEX just to do laundry for the first time. I never had an extra towel, it wasn't necessary. They give you two.
