I've only heard of people "reapply" I haven't heard anybody get selected yet. I'm sure it's possible but the chances are very slim since the person voluntarily dropped and wrote an explanation as to "why" they are dropping from OCS. Board members will see that. Their reason to get "reselected" has to be compelling to the board to pick them again and waste another potential spot for that person.

Hello everyone,
I've been diving thought the OPNAV 1420, the commissioning page and the PA for SWO and was looking for some guidances on a few questions.
I am AD HM2 stationed in a marine corps unit that's pretty isolated from the navy. I am one of two enlisted sailors at the command and have no CCC. my Coc is all marine corps so I am having to do all the research for the application and process with little assistance.
1.Do I route the waiver with my application to the email on the my navyhr commission page? or do I have to have the age and TIR waiver approved prior to routing my application?
2. My official graduation date is Oct1, can I still submit my official electronic transcript for the sep20 board as long as it reflects that I am graduating? or do I have to wait for the next board?

You can submit your waiver with your application, it will then be forwarded to cnrc for approval. Make sure you have your endorsements from your CO as well for board purposes. You can submit your application before your grad date you just need a conferral date and final transcripts. I submitted mine before I officially graduated. As long as your waivers are approved before the board date, you will be good to go.

Does anyone know if there is a post office at OCS we will be able to visit?
I have an upcoming check for a home insurance claim that will likely have to be mailed to me at OCS and was wondering if it might be possible for me to send that out to the contractor via certified mail or something I can track.

Why not just redirect mail to a parent / relative / someone you can trust?
Additionally, if needed have a power of attorney for said person to do items for you in the event you’re not able to.
This will come clutch as well when you’re underway for an extensive period of time and/or deployed.
There is a post office you'll have access to, but usually only on Fridays/Saturdays before candio and at random times in candio. Your class team will also be quite curious as to why you can't use the normal OCS mail system.

I am having it sent to my grandparent's address, but the check requires my signature, as well as the bank's, to endorse it. I'll look into getting someone set up with power of attorney. I don't know if I will be able to set that up in time before I leave, but that does sound like a really smart thing to do in general.
Thanks. I could technically send the check through regular mail, however once it's been endorsed by the bank and myself, anybody could cash the check if they came across it. It's a pretty good-sized check so I'd be a lot more comfortable sending it in a way that could be tracked or required a signature. I think to avoid issues at OCS I will just have my grandparents mail me the check before the bank signs and then I'll sign it and send it back to my grandparents through the regular mail system for them to handle the rest. That way if it did get lost on the way back nobody could cash it because the bank wouldn't have endorsed it.
So I currently have a CO endorsement from my command but he will be leaving in a couple months and the board convenes after he leaves. If I get denied for that board, does anyone know if I have to get a brand new endorsement again for the new CO for all future OCS packets? Or is it ok to continue using the same CO endorsement?

All applications (whether new or a request for reconsideration) must have an updated CO's endorsement.
If you can run 3-5 miles, 3x per week I think you’ll be more than fine. Some mornings you’ll do sprints, others you’ll do longer based runs. It’s been almost three years since I’ve been, but I doubt it’s changed much. Just bring good running shoes in case they’re still issuing garbage ones.
