I put in for supply isel almost 3 weeks ago, a few days shy of it. Can it typically take a bit to get results?

Im going on 6 weeks waiting for results on SNA ISEL. Not sure if it would be any different for supply.
These applications need to be routed up through several people then approved, then sent back down. Sometimes the process works fast because people have time to review right when they get it sometimes it takes longer because people are on leave or have other things to do.

Thanks! “Hurry up and wait” is what I’ve been hearing a lot of too.

Hey everyone, I still have a few concerns that may affect my ability to ship out on my planned date of 8 JUN.

1) I placed an order from Parchment for my official transcript on 7 MAY, and they said it can take 4-6 weeks to reach my recruiter. Because of this, will I even get a chance to do my contracting paperwork or even receive my selection letter?

2) Also, what are some later ship-out dates if 8 JUN does not work in my favor?

3) My recruiter is well aware that my transcript has not reached her yet, but is telling me to book a room in the hotel I will be staying at on the Friday before this OCS class date begins. I don't know if I should take further action on this.

If anyone is in a similar situation, please let me know what your recruiter has told you. Thanks!

For questions 1 and 2, mainly #1 did you actually discuss and ask your recruiter? You've asked the same question before...

For #3, you should be able to book a room on base. They have same-day cancellation, so if your OCS class changes, just call them.

I've spoken to my recruiter and yes, I apologize if I keep asking this again. It's just that my folks at home are anxious as to what they should do as I dont have a definite answer for them

I also sent my transcripts to my recruiter through parchment, however I sent him an electronic version rather than hard copy and he said it was fine. It was his preference even. He received it on the day I sent it. Was an electronic version not an option for you with your recruiter?

Electronic is totally acceptable there’s no reason it has to be hard copy.

If your recruiter doesn’t have answers or the answer is simply unknown, there is nothing wrong with telling your parents the same and to give thanks for their patience.

The first day or two you wear civilian clothes while you are processing in. Typically day 2 you will do a uniform trip and be issued all the gear you’ll need. You will not wear civilian clothes again after uniform issue. You also will not do PT until after first Friday, so you will have uniforms by then.

It’s sort of changed now, first Friday is not done anymore it’s first Tuesday now. Gear is assigned on the weekend, Monday at the latest.

I placed an order for the electronic version, but no matter the type, my registrar office is saying it will take 4-6 weeks regardless.

I sent my unofficial transcript (signed by my academic advisor) to my recruiter and she said she "submitted it to the processing team", so I'm assuming everything went well?

Last I checked you could send your final semester grades and a letter from the registrar saying you completed all academic requirements and graduated.
