Did you not have a new Captain in your unit to pass on the "tradition"? Anyone heard of this tradition?
I would always pass my old sets of uniform devices to the junior guy.

OMG, thought I'd never see that dumb thing again...thanks for the scary flashbacks.

My last Commodore brought it around the whole wing and did not go over well. At the same time the OPSO and I were trying to get a policy relaxed to allow the Enlisted guys to drink at the barracks and get them a volleyball sand pit built. Guess who won???

Sorry for the threadjack, back to the regularly scheduled programing...

Planning on wearing anything besides your flight suit anytime soon?

Congrats.

On a related note, is it cool to wear the brown name tags on green flight suits, or are you supposed to wear black only?
