Summer lacrosse league?

Probably not the right forum to post this, but I'm guessing it might get moved anyway. Yes, I'm new to the site; no posts. However, I've been looking through these forums for quite some time. I couldn't find any info anywhere else, so I turned to trusty AW to put the question out there.

Im heading down to start API in the next few weeks and I was wondering if there are any summer lacrosse leagues floating around the area. I googled the hell out of it but couldn't find anything, which probably should have been a good indicator.

Try asking at the forums on http://www.collegelax.us. I would bet some of the colleges or jucos in the area run a summer league. Generally any school that has at least a club team will run a summer league.

probably not. Summer Temps in Pensacola: high 90's. Humidity-99% Heat Index-120 Trust me, you will not want to be outside during the summer. When it's not hot, it's raining ( and I mean rain with a HIGH likelihood of being struck by lightning).

Corpus has a team that plays up in Austin through the summer and plays some other tourneys during the year. They have a myspace page for those interested

Which does not say anything about lacross being interested, moreso how boring baseball is.

Lacrosse is kinda like rugby, not the best spectator but GREAT to play. Outside of the "Big Boys" lesser leagues don't matter much. Don't forget, Jim Brown was a lacrosse star and oddly enough future top notch doctors played lacrosse, go figure.

Or maybe so. Where I live it is 105+ and they play summer lacrosse. Just depends on how serious you are I guess. Of course there are always indoor box leagues as well.
