Hello All,

Thought I would start a thread for this most recent supply board - I hope I'm doing this right. The last board took almost 8 weeks to get results, hopefully we will hear sooner than that! Does anyone know if the board met this past week?

Best of luck everyone!

I've put my name in the hat as well. I texted my recruiter at the beginning of last week on Tuesday (September 8th), he told me it can take the board up to a week to work through all the applications and make selections. I agree waiting 8 weeks is not desirable, hopefully applications are low due to COVID, resulting in a reduced wait time.

you had about 49 applicants which is around the same ill post your at-board list

That's a great question, I think its posted somewhere on here under the "am I competitive for Supply Corps" forum
I do believe one of the former recruiters posted that Supply Corps is super competitive and super selective with a selection rate around 10 or 20%, attached is the accession numbers from last year, check it out. Good Luck to you!!

Thanks so much - this is information I have never seen before!

Interesting, that makes me wonder, is there any place the board posts results? Or are decisions sent exclusively and directly to recruiters? I also wish there was more information and analysis surrounding those who were passed and those who were not, and why. Does anyone have insight or speculation?

Yes they post board results on mpte but they are not accessible to the public, also they don’t pass out the specifics from boards as to why they do or don’t select candidates, however there is some good threads up here where former and current recruiters have posted items that boards deemed favorable by designator, I believe it’s under “What NRC views as competitive”

Thank you, much appreciated. Follow-up question, if anyone can answer it, is there a reason why it takes so long for boards to get back to applicants with a decision? Is it due to paperwork? Processing? I also wonder, are applicants voted on? Or is it based on qualification?

I'm more interested in what has the most influence over the board. Is GPA weighted higher than OAR? How does major play a factor? Etc. Again, just questions, if no answer is available, no worries.

When I read the Officer recruiting manual it stated how they conducted the boards, but it doesn’t go into great detail. They also list what the board views as important, However I’m sure this varies by designator. I tried to post the manual here but it’s too large, if anyone is interested pm me or post your email here and I will send it to you tomorrow.

I am wondering the results coming out yet? I only applied one designator which was supply corps. I was working in the Navy as Logistics Specialist and completed a BS degree with aerospace engineering. This is my first time to apply Naval Officer.
