I just got my orders yesterday, but I was in doubt because it said to report no later than 14AUG21. I asked the detailer, since I was vaccinated, if ROM was still required? Since it wasn't specified in the orders. He said that since I am fully vaccinated, they will be modify my orders and not require ROM.

I just graduated a few weeks from OCS and this was being talked about that ROM was going away if you were vaccinated or just to one week.

Yes Rom has gone away for people fully vaxxed.

Just so ppl know. My class that starts 25 Jul has no ROM. It's been takin away no matter vaccinated or not

If it's any indication of USNA. They are separated in the beginning while underdoing COVID tests.

I got accepted by this board and my command recommended I be released in November but I haven't seen a FINSEL letter or orders yet. Mr. Celestin said that there were some issues with FY21 appointees and orders should be coming "soon" but I don't know what "soon" means to them lol

I got selection letter on March 16th 2021, orders on July 6th 2021.

FY 21 appointees are all in OCS by now, so he may have been talking in the past or using wrong terminology.

nope, you cannot be, FY 21 accessions must be commissioned before Oct 1 2021, that means you would need to be in OCS now.

I am aware that FY21 ends September 30th 2021 and that new FY22 starts on October 1st 2021.
