They signed off on the PA after the date for when this board was scheduled to meet, so maybe it will be a reference for future boards
What is TIS?Age and TIS greatly reduced. Some of the people recently selected, would no longer be eligible
So what now...we just wait?
If you guys follow our release date timeline, everyone should have a Y or N on May 14th. Hoping it's sooner for y'all!Yes. It'll probably be near to June before we hear back.
It is basically going back to what it was several years ago.Age and TIS greatly reduced. Some of the people recently selected, would no longer be eligible
I have seen it go 2 different ways, where they immediately apply the PA and where they honor the PA the applicants apply to, of course this doesn't mean they won't be looking to see who fits what they are looking for in the new PA.@exNavyOffRec anything you could enlighten us with? what happens if a new program authorization that would render you ineligible for a designator comes out after the board has convened?
wow does this mean the Navy finally has enough applicants for SWO now so they can be more selective? It is basically going back to what it was several years ago.

With these changes, how much (%) do you think will be accepted? And what's the main reason why someone would be accepted?not really, it seems in this case they want to ensure they are going to get the years out of those they select and just added info that is becoming standard in the PA's.
It is tweaked ever few years, someone has to change something, otherwise what did you do for your job lol
no one can predict the %, too many variables. With these changes, how much (%) do you think will be accepted? And what's the main reason why someone would be accepted?
