AD member here. I saw my name on the PRO Y list posted on this forum but can't access BOL with a busted CAC and my triad hasn't heard anything. Anyone know how the acceptance letter and stuff works?
I lived in Williamsburg for a few years, I dont hate VA, I just want to go somewhere new. Even San Diego would be niceI’m already in Norfolk so I am confident I will get my request to stay here!
But this area isn’t too bad ?
I live in VA for a while. I don’t hate it, I just wanna go somewhere new is allI am already stationed here lol It's not as bad as people say. I was one of those people until I got here.
Same here, on the list but my recruiter hasn't answered. I'm excited though! Congrats!
Any updates on your recruiter calling you yet? I still haven't been called yet, lol. My dad (retired navy) told me to wait 1 week from today, and if nothing then he said I should definitely call him next Friday.

I’m still in..and I’m sure I’ll see some of you in the fleet ??It’s sad to hear that. I am sure you would be an experienced leader in the Navy! Thank you for everything you did for me Chief!

OAR: 40
GPA: 3.08
Prior service: No
Degree: Information Security and Assurance
LOR: active O5, college professor (retired O5)
Is anyone else have one more chance at the OAR?
My recruiter said that I could do a dual enrollment which I can get set up on the enlisted side incase I don't get selected for that board. He also suggested that I should enlist, save my OAR chance, and submit my package within two years of active duty. I am looking into IT or CT for enlisted side and SWO or IWC for officer.
That would be good for him, another number for his monthly quota. On the other hand, you don't need to enlist to retake the OAR. I would rather study really well, and retake it. There's a study guide in this forum that you could use, if you go enlisted, you might have to wait until you get to you finish recruit training and any other school, which depends on the specialty you choose (AT, CT, IT, etc.) Is how long it would take you to apply. Some commands will require at least a year to for your first evaluation to be able to apply, in the ocs application 1420.1b states that you need at least three. Is your choice, but it's the long road, that's why I said it will work for him.Proc-N
