Spoke again to my recruiter. Still no official update and he won't give me any unofficial results. Says they should be out any day with IWC Board from 3/1/21 out next week or the following for those of you who went up for that one, as well.
Here's hoping. Hopefully if we get prorec N they will still take our packages for next board. It's kinda irritating that the submission deadline was before results even came out from the previous cycle and we can't submit while pending.

Or better yet, I hope that's something none of us have to worry about, I hope prorec Y all around.

I think that is as designed... they don't want people to just keep reapplying like that. Good things come to those who wait.

My OR said he wouldn't give any guidance on my IWC Board as it's extremely competitive, but that my SWO application is strong. Take it with a grain of salt, but he said he's only had 2 SWO applicants not be accepted first time around, but were accepted on 2nd time.

Im curious to see what the other IWC packages look like too. The pool is much smaller this board than it was for the Nov board. I just need to know if I will be a civilian this time next year or swapping uniforms lol.
I'm hoping to be in a class by July. I'd prefer to get into FY21.

13 years in. Had you gone for OCS before?

I applied for Marine Corps MECEP in 2014 but pulled my package since they could not guarantee me a specific field. I put together a package in 2018 for the Navy and Airforce and just needed an approved interservice transfer request to apply. That request was denied so it put everything on hold. This time I am within a year of my end of service so its not like they are really losing out.

Regardless of your degree, experience, clearance, etc. there is no guarantee you will enter a particular field (except jag and pilot pretty much). After more than a decade in the field, a clearance, two degrees in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies, I know what field I want to stay in. I would be good with either IP or IWC but I am not willing to risk being a grunt or admin.

Sounds like the Army process for commissioning. You don't get to select your job to my knowledge unless you're going Warrant Officer.

My IWC package looked like this:
Age: 32
OAR: 58
Education: BA, JD, MBA
GPA: 3.05 - Cumulative
LOR: O-4 Navy, Law Professor, Former Supervisor, Former Colleagues

That said, I'm not too confident about my IWC chances as I've seen some folk that have much more impressive packets than mine.

Been navy a while, first time submitting a package, and nerves are high. I think I have stalked this forum enough that I will join in. Of all results in the Navy I have waited on these seem to be taking the longest. A01, did your entrs access get approved? Was super relieved to see myself on the packages submitted list on page 14-16 (ish) of this forum. You guys have incredible information flow on here.
