My apologies. I was viewing it on my phone and it had an X through the signature spots. I opened it on my computer and everything is normal. Thanks again!

On page 7 of the 2807-2, what did you put down for where your records should be released to?

I selected all records and left the rest blank!

good thing I checked in here while underway. Im cutting close to timeline. They set me up for an appraisal next week (I have asked 3 months ago) and we are going on holiday stand down soon. I have missed the October board and I would be pissed at this COC if I miss this one too

my HM1 told me I don't need no form 2807-2? is this new?

It was in my Packet they hand out at Oceana but it was wrong and outdated. the provider said that the one I posted a little way back was the most current. I still haven't even seen my eval so I know how you feel about timelines, my CO will be back next week and hopefully sign both my package and all E6 Evals.

To the Active Duty guys trying to make it in for this board, submit your packages as soon as you can, preferably before the deadline. When I submitted for the October board I was informed that once your package is received by CNRC the medical portion has to be approved by N3 Medical before your package will be forwarded to the board for review. So even if you submit before the posted deadline, your package might not make it to the board if the medical review isn't complete before the board convenes.

This is not a new thing, but still great advice for people to keep in mind.

Can't fleet folks submit medical first, and then the rest of the application?

"Have your CCC resubmit your physical to N3M/N33"

Where does a fleet applicant submit medical documents early? I was under the impression that medical review was just part of the application process. Our NCC retired and I'm driving blind here.

Perhaps you can ask the NRC POC that's listed on the Fleet checklist.

@RUFiO181 I was in a similar situation to @RyanScott , my CCC holds that position as a collateral and had no idea how to submit an OCS package, so I was pretty much stuck trying to figure it all out on my own. I ran into a number of obstacles throughout the application process. I was able to get a great deal of assistance from my mentor (an officer in the community I was applying to), but otherwise found myself doing a lot of research to navigate this process. Like at @NavyOffRec said, this isn't a new procedure, but since no one had told me until after my application was submitted I felt like it was pertinent to share with some of these guys who may be in a similar situation.
I will say that this site was the single best resource I found and I am thankful for all the advice that I was able to receive just by searching around. (@RUFiO181, @NavyOffRec, and many others provide a great deal of useful information)
@RyanScott @schmoo13 if you guys have any specific questions, feel free to PM me. I just went through the whole process and am more than willing to share any information I have.
