I always appreciated when female JOPA rocked them in somewhat ironic fashion during ball season. My CO even special ordered the O5+ one with scrambled eggs in solidarity.

I sewed my share of those inside the flight jackets when I was at VAW-120.

Another patch that was verboten to be displayed was one that said "Fly Navy - Divers Need the Work"
I don't remember the time frame for that one

I believe the swagger stick was officially phased out a few years back. Boat cloak is still an official uniform item

Dark cover for winter wear from many, many years ago. The Navy also did this around the 1930s-1940s.
