It'll do 316 KIAS in a dive from FL220 down to 8000 on a student solo in the northern areas at Vance.
It'll also go up to 31,000 and hit 400 knots over the ground with a banging tailwind.
haha it was pretty cool when I had all of 25 hours in the plane. It would enter the break regularly at 200 with around 1400 ft/lbs (50% Tq on our guage), and it had more to give but it wasn't a particularly clean plane. You could hit 250 no problem between the initial and the break, if you were so inclined, and it still had more to give, but I'm not sure how much til it would have topped out.. I never exceeded 250 below 10,000, nope...not me, not ever.
It was supposed to be 200. I stuck to 200 on my solo. Later, like late formation or navigation/low level flights, if the IP was comfortable they'd let you push it up to 230-250.
