I suggest you get it on your foreskin, she can always chew it off after you realize what a dumb move it was.
Tats are lots more permanent than GF's.

EXCELLENT observations. And these have ALWAYS been the point of my posts knocking tats for those who have read the posts and think I'm full of shit. Note: I have always like and admired tattoos on senior PO's and NCO's ... different world in many cases....I'm not trying to tell you what to do here. I have a tattoo myself. However, a lot of this latest tattoo craze will blow over like any other fad does. I have seen many young Marines severely alter their lives just because of tattoos. No DI duty. No recruiting duty. No MECEP package. No Warrant Officer board.
Is it fair? Probably not. But that's life. Get used to it. ....
Awfully big bumper ... do you drive a Hummer or a Mack truck???"The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people, is that tattooed people don't give a shit if you're not tattooed."
Great bumper sticker, don't ya think?
Awfully big bumper ... do you drive a Hummer or a Mack truck???
P.s. ... you're 31??? A prior?? If so, then you would fall into my "different world in many cases" control group.
shit....I just turned 32 yesterday

Janine Lindemulder is an ICON in the industry, ha ha!!!
Thunder do your thing bud, this is an opinionated subject with both angles being shared. There really is not a right or wrong answer when you come down to it. Yes I understand the logic behind not having one but it seems as if there are plenty of Officers who do....... Good Luck!
Bunk, you know I love you -- just not your tat's -- but that's just baloney. What you mean to say is YOU haven't "had issues" . Or have you and you just don't know it???Officers have tattoo's and have no issues....

Why would a couple of us say "get tattoos at your own risk" if there were "no issues". There were, there are, there will be ... that's why people are asking the basic question.
Experience speaks louder than opinion or wishful thinking and experience sez there ARE "issues". If YOUR experience is different: bully for you.
Look: if you want 'em -- get 'em. I could care less. But don't tell guys they're "not an issue", 'cause I have experienced the opposite. Others on this thread have as well. Tattoo's are a symbol of "rebellion" and "in your face" outlaw-ism and therefore not acceptable to many.
I'm just telling guys how it is and was and probably always will be ...
I'm done here.:sleep_125 [/B]
