I thought the call for fire exam was the easiest and final land nav just well, just landnav. It just sucks if you get ****ty coordinates and end up in the specially enchanted section of TA-16. For me, the toughest exams and my worse exams included the law exam and fitrep exam. I should have paid more attention in class.

Even thought the staff wouldn't admit it, they do "curve" the tests here. We had a few exams that didn't turn out so well at the compnay level, and as a result a good chunk of the questions were dropped so that most would pass. I have to say though, you can atleast pass most exams without studying or doing the minimum amount of studying. I'm not saying you shouldn't study but rather that its not rocket science...just like everything else you do here or at OCS.

Though they'll never admit it, I'm a firm believer that attrition quotas exist. No amount of debate will convince me otherwise.

really, then what is the quota, like 3? There's no quota, like harrier dude said it is damn near impossible to fail out of TBS. out of 200-250 LT's, there are bound to be at least 3 or 4 douche bags that slipped through the cracks at OCS or the academy, and from what I've seen even these guys usually don't attrite out of TBS.

My TBS $.02

Grab yourself by the back of the collar, and drag yourself thru it. I thought TBS kinda sucked. Looking back, I learned some useful **** though.

No kidding. There was a Lt who started in our company, rolled out of it, rolled out of the next one, and finished in the third. Short of an integrity violation or DUI-esque move, they're not going to attrite you.

btw- nocal, when are you headed out here?
