Temporary NPQ and looking for advice

I think it wise to stress to them the things you can do...run, pushups, pullups, any sports related activities, assure them that you have full range of motion, no residual soreness, etc. It really is no big deal, they just wanna know your opinion.

And I just want my standard $100 internet consult fee. :icon_tong

Yeah I'm definitely going to write the letter. And, yes, it is fairly simple. The advice that I'm looking for is more like, from those who have had experience with this, what should I make sure to put in the letter? What are they looking for exactly?

If I can make sure to stress certain aspects of the letter, then I can rest a little easier knowing that they have everything they need... I don't know maybe you have a point and this isn't such a big deal. Can someone who has been through this confirm that its no big deal?

You mean you get away with using it after taps. Double check the OCR. Remember, if you screw up and get caught there is more at stake than just your personal well-being....

Imagine the following:
Your DI: "Say 'thank you candidate shotcalla!'"
Your Class (while pushing in the sand): "THANK YOU CANDIDATE SHOTCALLA!"
You: stand at attention facing your class while they RPT for your screw-up.

Have fun at OCS! ;)

Were you watching me at OCS?

Actually my DI was so familiar with me, he cut out the "candidate" and simply had the class say "Thank you [bogey_spotter]!", while I was secretly thinking "thank you AW!".

He congratulated me in the end.:)

Watching you at OCS - no and yes. I was across the street at API while you were at OCS, but did I watch your class and others pushing in the grass and sand, all the while laughing to myself at your collective pain? Absolutely. :D

Hmm. No mention of the Voodoo Doll working?? You didn't feel any twinges, sharps pains or heat at all. MB needs to get his money back!

I did indeed feel these things, however I think it was mostly due to GySgt XXX . :D

Update on original post: I've been listed as PQ! Yeehaw! ... Should be getting that final select any day now I suppose.

In hindsight, it seems that the letter they requested from me, proclaiming my good health, was not such a big deal. I wrote a little over a page. I included a detailed outline of my weekly exercise routine and wrote a long list of different exercises I do. I stressed that I engage in competitive sports and long distance runs on all different types of surfaces with no problems, etc.

It's possible that the letter from me was just a check in the box for them. But I think it would have been foolish to take it lightly... better safe than sorry.
