He is good, but credit also belongs to pilot. I always felt my airborne shots should be credited to both as the person at controls has to position the aircraft for the shot. Some pilots I flew with instinctively knew what to do and could hold top rudder when needed. Some needed a lot of prompts and bananas to get into position.

Here are a few from the GW on the trip 'round the horn! These are all from the Straits of Magellan. Cold as heck & 18' seas on exit into the Pacific. One of the most amazing trips ever. I've got some 1600 pictures from the 2 months. Gonna take a while to sort through all of them...

Illuminated by the setting sun after landing at Al Asad, Iraq, Jan. 15, a ‘tiger-striped’ F/A-18D Hornet with Marine (All Weather) Fighter Attack Squadron 224 rests in the new hangar area prepared for the squadron by 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Marines.

My apologies if this is already in the thread somewhere.

Here she is, a Growler in 129 colors...

Don't know who took the picture, it was forwarded to me.

Still looking pristine, but sailors will fix that pretty quick

They've been climbing over it all week. :D

Funny how it's nothing to see a Prowler in the hangar with 15 panels off, engines dropped, seats pulled etc. etc. etc. with a cluster of troops around it chasing various and sundry gremlins . . .

And the Supers we have come into the hangar, couple panels removed, tweak tweak and there, we're done. Or at least that's how it looks walking by them. This modern technology stuff really is amazing. :icon_tong
