Anyone know what that first jet is? Some kind of ISR deal?
When I took the picture they had the steps roped off, I wanted to go in and look but no joy. Later in the day it was open for viewing but the line was about 400 people long. I did notice the lower canoe.

Roger. Google says it's their Dragonstar tech demo bird. Interesting it's doing the airshow circuit...

The A-37. The Old Man has always said that this is/was his favorite airplane to fly. Small, way overpowered (apparently you could hit VNe straight and level with the engines turning at 90%; exaggerated a but I'm sure but you get the point), and it carried a mean punch.

Thanks for the "Hailstone" images and story - I'm researching for a book on SWPA/Rabaul.
Any other info would be appreciated. I've got lots of info re Feb 17 & 18 attacks, now to follow up your dates.

I'm supposed to come up with the Centennial paint scheme for a COD. problem is, it's pretty vintage already. Maybe we'll go with the Corsair scheme...

Maybe something like this...

Thars an S-2, now to find a C-1 with the same paint scheme to sell it.
