That one's actually on TR during our Desert Storm cruise.
From what I remember, it was the cranial that saved him and the the steel toes of his boots that got the engine (while leaving his toes intact). He came out of the duct well after engine shutdown as he had passed out. The cranial strap cut off the blood flow to his head.Yea I'm not sure what the hell I was thinking when I posted that. We had safety stand down and watched the vid as part of our brief. I could've sworn they told us it was 95 but yea, that isn't right they were on the beach with us. Wow do I feel like an idiot. YouTube has the interview of the AN too, that's crazy. We were told it was the adjustment straps on his float coat caught something inside the intake and his cranial was what FOD'd out the engine.

I lived in the northeast for a number of years and used to pass through Baltimore frequently. There is a knackers yard close to one of the tunnels under the rivers there and for a long time I watched the Coral Sea being cut up bit by bit until there was nothing left. What a sad sight. Every time I passed by there was less of her. Sad end to a grand old lady.
Couple of contract adversaries recently at NFL. I believe the Scooter is an Israeli model - see extended tailpipe.
