This was probably one of my most fun flights, and it was flying in the Mirage with the South African Air Force. Here are a selection of pics.

This was another cool day, got to fly in the pilots seat of a B-1B for a sortie. Dallas was the IP in the right seat and not sure how he wangled it but I was in front left seat for the whole flight and was one of the four crew onboard.

Last ones for today, someone elses turn now. This was a flight in an F-5 with the Norwegian AF, cool fun flying around the mountains. The F-16 actually had live Penguins on its racks.

Very true, but I've seen the camera cases photographers have to lug around... I'll stick with my backpack full of pubs, checklists, and my plastic spoon for a bit longer.
Still an awesome gig: Fly on all sorts of bad-ass aircraft, take challenging and difficult to compose/coordinate photos, AND get paid for it.

But I do like flying and taking pics. The problem with the 135 is you need an extra pilot on board so we can go lay in the boom pod to take some of these pics.
Sorry to see that Bunk or MB haven't posted in pics of the pig. What gives? I can't take credit for the Airwing, including the Air Funk B-2 out in front of the BG but I was in the local area.

You should have seen the markings that I just saw on a B-1 this week. I reminded myself once again why I like being up front during some of our refuelings.
I know that they are operational now but during this flight with the Raptor they were allowed to be VMC only.
