The Perpetual MEGA Space Thread

Randy would have slightly more credibility if he had managed to completely wipe all the remnants of Elon's jism off of his chin before posting such a bizarre laudatory statement about a regularly scheduled Crew Dragon sortie to the ISS.

Bracing for FLGuy's dislike. :D
🤷‍♂️ Idk man. You can argue that it isn’t a newsworthy article, but if him highlighting it is weird, then so is lambasting him over it to this degree in the…. -checks notes- Space thread.

Speaking of Mr. Shatner, he gets a ride on Blue Origin next week.

Been out at The Great Wolf Lodge waterpark for the last few days, but I would be wrong to not mention the birthday of the original, and still the greatest, Captain of the Enterprise: James Tiberius Kirk. William Shatner turned 94 this past weekend. And I am still going with “A Piece of the Action” as my favorite episode.

Shatner remains remarkably sharp for 94, though he always looks like he has exceeded the recommended inflation pressure by 10-15 psi.

Things are going great:

That's not really how government contracts work, but okay. And then again the latest is...maybe not? Great way to run things.

Lost amid it all was the news a new Dragon capsule arrived on pad at Cape Canaveral in the last day or two for a scheduled launch on 10 June.

Saw a ForceConmect recently about the MSO redesignation opportunity. I don’t know anyone who is pursuing it but could be an interesting path for space nerds.
