The red cross will not get another cent, second or drop of blood from me . . .

This event isn't what leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the red cross. If I'm going to donate, it will be to http://www.mdais.org/e/.

If I donate blood, as long as it's the ARC, I am confident it will most likely end up in American Veins.

They will bomb an allied road-building effort and simultaneously build one of their own.

Really? I havent seen any road projects or infrastructure built by the Taliban in Afghanistan. In fact the side switching constant alignment changes seemed to always undermine it.

Interestingly enough, it's been proven that American blood will actually harm Taliban bodies. If you were to give American blood to a wounded Taliban they would literally explode.

Who thunk it?

On a serious note - I doubt any blood donated in the US could even be transported to the Taliban field hospitals as I think it has to be kept cold to transport, though I'm not certain.

Again, the ICRC and the ARC are separate organizations. Blood products manufactured by the ARC are distributed regionally within the United States. Each unit of blood collected by the ARC is tested and Manufactured into up to 3 blood products and is distributed to hospitals within 40 days of collection.
For instance, if you donate in the DC metro area, the unit you donated will be shipped to Baltimore for manufacturing while simultaneously a vile from your unit will be shipped to Philadelphia for testing and the products from your donation will be distributed in the DC/Baltimore area.

The red cross has an obligation to help anyone. I don't see what the issue is. They did the same thing in previous conflicts.
