Notices to Airmen had to become Notices To Air Missions. But the FAA still issues Airmen Certificates. Airmen is all over the Regs. Did anyone ever survey users of FAA services if they felt marginalized or insulted by the word airman? Where are the people than did not compete pilot training because "airman" was offensive?

There is always jobs for COBOL programmers. One of the last things I did at my old job was figure out how to get COBOL to produce JSON output.. so yeah.

As my parents would say, it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick…AND…the airlines can provide the means to visit places…like the BWI long layover…where old AOCS dudes have the opportunity to invade the USNA and attempt to scale the Herndon Monument…
