ROUGH WATERS

I was doing an unrep that same day at night. Most intense experience at sea I've had yet. The waves were crashing well over the foc'sle and the wind was unyielding. Probably will be the most dangerous evolution at sea I'll do in my career I imagine. It was also the most fun I've had at sea yet. Lots of camaraderie was built that night.

As a non-surface guy and somebody who just doesn't get a rise out of formation flying, I've always thought DIVTACs and UNREP maneuvering were pretty cool to watch- but a still photo just doesn't do them any justice.

Cool to watch maybe. Painful to be a part of.....especially with DESRON on board.
