I haven't been paying attention to every post, but it seemed like he was speaking the truth here.
The question, in my mind, is who's more ready to be done with whom...My CO with me, or your ready room with you.

To un-derail this thread, this is a pretty classic bone job for this guy, going to a dead end community that doesn't have a replacement on the horizon instead of getting to play with the new shiny toy. The only upside is that so many dudes are bailing from the Q and VP, Q guys are ending up as VP DHs. If he sticks around 11-13 years, he might get to fly the P8.
He was loathe to fly helos. After 1500 hours in the VPenis flying circles at 25,000 feet being bored to tears for most of them, I'm pointing out that he probably doesn't have any frame of reference to know what he's missing.
Hating on helos is easy; that being said, flying around bored as fuck at 25000 playing 2P power source fuck fuck games is not as much fun as it might look on first glance.

At any rate, you obviously made a huge error in accepting a position in VP in the first place. I'm sure your several talents will, instead, be best utilized by flying in straight lines at 25,000 feet, playing First Officer.

25000 seems a little low for playing first officer. 360-410 seems more like it. I never did take you for one with much aeronautical knowledge, though.
Everyone knows once you get out it's not how much you fly, it's how little you fly.
The hardest part will be figuring out what to do with my time off. A solid portion of it will be spent laughing at the rat race, some will be spent poking the bear, and most will probably be spent drinking beer and going places for shits and grins.
