Very Nice Breakdown

I'm hoping to take the test in the next month or so. I'm currently using the ARCO book and every other gouge I can find on here. I have atrickpay's gouge as well, should I primarily just use it to study for the Aviation/Nautical Section?

I just ordered the Barrons book today off of Amazon. I figured I might as well use every resource possible so I'll be absolutely ready when I decide to take the test. I don't want to take it and then ask myself, "What if I had studied that book too?"

Thanks for providing info on the Aviation Supplement. I didn't even know about this part on the test until now!

I'm definitely now planning on using Kaplan's GRE Study Guide as well, after what I've read recently. I haven't used basic math(without a calculator) in a long time and I need a good refresher.

If you don't mind, let me know how you did when you find out your scores. I feel like I'm in the same boat with you on your strong points and weaknesses concerning this test.

Introductory Flight

I'm taking a little introductory course/flight at a local airport tomorrow. Hopefully this will help me tremendously. I'm going to take most of my study materials with me so the instructor can go through some of it with me. He's a retired AF pilot of 27 years! He also said I'll be doing most of the flying once we take off, I'm pretty pumped about it! Can't wait to spend an afternoon in the air at sunset. Now off to spend a day studying.

Here's atrickpays gouge jp. It's the 9th post down.

Nice job turtl! How long did you study before you actually decided to take the test? I've studied the ARCO book til I'm blue in the face and now just waiting on the mailman to bring me the Barrons book. I figured a few weeks of studying that, considering I have a full-time job, and I'll be ready to go.

ASTB different forms

I just recently took the ASTB and didn't score as well as I hope to. I plan on taking it again as soon as I'm able to. I took Form 5. Are the other forms are comparable in difficulty or are some relatively more challenging. Any advice would be great.

They should be close enough to the same to be fair.
Study and don't take it till you're ready, only get 3 chances total.
