There are other threads on the forum with more details, but here is my understanding:
Lasik will disqualify you from any chance at either pilot or nfo in Navy or Marines
PRK *may* be acceptable with a waiver for either seat; lots of details involved
Navy or Marine paid PRK is oriented towards current service members (like pilot, nfo, special ops who currently require glasses). If you want to improve your eligiblity, you can pay for your own PRK (but make sure you meet the program requirements ... some things may disqualify you even if you have 20/20 after PRK)
