Vector Arms AK-47 Classic w/ Synthetic Stock. About $450 + shipping from Atlantic Firearms. I wanted a wood stock, but they were out. Mmm now my AR-15s and this can fight.

I have an SLR 95 which I will post pics of when I get home, very similar to yours. Great gun, and it and my AR-15 fight all the time. :eek:

Little guy looks like Mikhail Kalashnikov, designer of the AK-47. Note the old school USSR war medals.

Say that to him and he will kill you. He to this day (can't remember if he's dead or not?) denies any influence from the Stg-44 or MP-44.

That is sweeeeeeeeeeet. I think I would prefer that synthetic stock over the wood. But if you are keeping them for collection item, then the wood stock definitely looks better.

I need to pawn something to get that.

Yeah, that's why I want the wood, cause it looks original. Then again, this looks modern Soviet/Russian, though they are using AK-74s and other AK variants... I'll get those too :) I want an underfolder AK-47 as well.

I can't remember, but I think that was the first time they ever met. I like the photo, holding each other's creations. They got along very well as I understand. Kalashnikov seems like an alright guy, despite being you know, a Communist. Poor guy makes THE most popular rifle in the world, and he doesn't see barely a penny for it. I remember an interview with him, he's was very upset that terrorists adopted his rifle.
 
He made a simple rifle for "Workers of the World" to unite and overthrow capitolismbig surprise it is the preffered weapon of terrorirsts, how mant did they ship to the PLO, Libya, Iraq etc etc. He reaped the benefits of life as a Soviet Elite, maybe he doesnt have muhc money now but only because his side lost!
