You're absolutely right. It's easy to get caught up in justifications - I like the idea of attributing low GPA to dedication to my work and moving on. It isn't much of a stretch; I have an almost flawless work record to show for it.

He was. Drop the Mensa "thing", it's at best an independent IQ test that correlates to zip to the military and can work against you*. And save your money for something worthwhile. Your team sports laundry list will play a lot better.

*Taking a test and doing well is only one part of the equation. This is a whole person concept so you don't want to appear as if you test like a genius and perform like a chump.
