Is anyone already wearing the new service uniforms, or reporting to BOOST in winter blues? I am stationed in Spain and we haven't recieved them yet, however, I have to buy a new set anyways and was looking to get the new ones (more comfortable than going to class all day with that damn necktie). If some people are wearing them, then it shouldn't matter if your previous command had them or not, right?

You can always buy the new uniforms online even if your command is not wearing them. From what I have learned, once the new uniforms come out then you can wear them if the uniform of the day allows for it. I saw something written somewhere that if you switch to the new uniform and then transfer you will be allowed to continue to wear the new ubniform, even if they are not being sold in the area of your new command. As far as BOOST/NSI is concerned I would call up there for info.

I'm bringing the new PT uniforms because it's the only kind I have. Same with the service uniforms, but only have the old style. Looks like I will have to suck it up and do the tie and tight neck with the blues. Small price to pay considering the opportunity we have. I'm excited to begin this new chapter of my career/life. See everybody there!!

This thread is geared towards BOOST and NSI for the Navy's STA-21 program. Try to be more specific as to what you need help with and usually people are more than willing to lend a hand. But I would also suggest to first try to answer your questions on your own by looking it up/Googling and also find the appropriate area of the forum to post in that fits your question best. Yes you will have a ceremony towards the end of July. Your folks will be able to come and take photos and cry or whatever they are into. Be warned though, they jerked us around about our graduation date until mid-to late June.

Hey guys, I am finding it really hard to get these colleges to aprove an acceptance letter so soon! What should i do?! Texas A&M is being very Cooperative but The University of Texas MIGHT not be able to. I have had to apply to the "cross-street" college Huston-Tillotson. From there they are saying I can transfer. AHHHH!!!! I am loosing my mind! tell me i am not the only one in this position.

Thats why I applied before results. I applied to ODU in July, and didn't get my acceptance letter till almost Oct! Good luck, from what I've read on here UT takes forever.

Zero, you have to mess up real bad to get booted. Don't be concerned with getting kicked out. It won't happen. Just do what you need to do and they make sure you get through.

I've decided on USF or UT in Tampa FL. UT accepted 70 credits from my previous coursework (mostly Embry Riddle). However my BA Marketing degree plan requires me to complete 105 units! Going to be a full 3 years! Too bad Embry Riddle is so d*mn expensive. Have any STA21 OC's gone/ planned to go there?

105 units is not hard to do in under 3 years. I am doing about 120 in two years (about 23-24 credits a semester including summer semester). I had nothing transfer in except for English 101. It can be done, maybe not at every school, but it is definitely possible. It is all in how much do you want it.
