Would love to know how many 1885s were selected. Might flip my #1 to intel.

I was told only two nationwide for 1885.

Have you considered traditional OCS route for the designator you actually want? I was planning to take the OAR in the event this pathway didn't work out

Im in the Midwest btw. When I spoke to my OR over the phone he reviewed the full list and found my Name under 1825.

Not sure if or why they would give regions the list at different frequencies, has those who haven't found out yet reached out to their OR's?

They email out the info to commands at the same time, when that command sends out the info to their recruiters is the variable.

Got the yes for 1835 just now. Congrats to all of you selected, and to those who didn't yet, keep pushing!

Anecdotally, my recruiter suggested they only took around 20 something percent for intel, which is quite competitive for the first board of the FY.

When the board happens really makes no difference, they try to give equal share to each board.

20 percent isn't bad, there were several years where it was 10 percent.

I have considered it, I was just trying to avoid the longer training pipeline that non-DCOs have. Something to talk to my recruiter about for sure though.

Congratulations to everyone who made it!

Unfortunately I was a non-select for 1825/85.
My stats:
Former IT2 (IW), EP/MP evals, stationed at several large IC commands.
2 LOR from O6s in IC, several others from civilian colleagues.
2 degrees both in IT/Cybersec both 4.0's.
~7 years experience in IT with about a dozen certs, some of which were directly mentioned in the initial application forms.

When I spoke to someone in admin a couple of months back they mentioned they received more applicants this cycle than any other cycle before. I'm still in disbelief that only 4/5 were selected for 1825 although I was not surprised only 2 were selected for 1885 as this has been a trend for a couple of cycles from what I've heard.

Truly, a huge congratulations to those who were selected. Absolutely incredible work.

(is it presumptuous to think that we are the new HMs of the IC?)
