Vision/Allow myself to introduce...me

Hi,

I'll give a short introduction to myself as I am brand new to these forums. I am a 21 year old college student(attending my 2nd year in junior college). I have had a relatively successful athletic life in hockey and lacrosse and my academics have always been stellar. For the past two years of my life i have wandered looking for something more from life after my dream of hockey fell through. I have done well in my 1st year of college and am working on my second. I have no doubt my grades, fitness, and extra activities would be up to par, but i am worried about my vision.

My vision ( cant exactly remember) is worse than 20/40 and im curious if i should apply without getting this corrected with PRK or do it beforehand.

I know the navigators can have worse than 20/40 uncorrected but i have a desire to do the flying.

Have you searched around the forum? There is quite a bit of info regarding this topic.

As HH recommends, search search tool above to your right and you will be rewarded with many, many threads on everything there is know about vision requirements (that question gets asked repeatedly and we're reluctant to start new threads when info is sitting here already). Do you homework first and then you can ask Feddoc about specific issues. Welcome aboard!

Your next question and search assignment should be what problem and service best fits your situation and aspirations. Search on PLC and BDCP first and then ask your questions. Cheers, HJ

There is always the short bus option to the "Stupid Question" thread and tutoring with Nose.
