Waiting on MEPS. Normal?

In case someone else is in the position I was one day and actually needs an answer to the question I asked on the board (instead of follow-up questions about whether I am qualified or not, including calling "BS" on me based on zero information (???)), it turns out my timeline for MEPS was okay after all. I wasn't cleared to go to MEPS until November (so it took 5 months to process), but it all worked out. I was eventually assigned a new recruiter who is awesome. Since the PAO boards were first and he believed I had a good chance of getting selected, we threw all my eggs in that basket and I was selected at the May PAO board. It's been a fun ride since then. I'm so grateful and excited to be in this community. There's a lot of gatekeeping on these boards and I'm glad I didn't let comments from others on here derail my focus.

Going back to this, you never answered the questions about your experience.

No one here was gate keeping you or insulting your credentials, simply folks stating that it’s very difficult for a DCO applicant to be competitive or a good fit for two different distinguishable programs.

In the end, it really doesn’t matter now since you’ve been selected.

I wasn't asking for your feedback about my experience so I wasn't obligated to answer any questions.

And I wasn’t asking for an attitude for a professional discussion. You’re trying to spike a football on a non-existent debate/challenge,

I hope you check that attitude at the door before you commission into the Navy.

I came on here to ask a question and then came back to clarify an answer for anyone else looking for the response. As I mentioned, I hope its useful to someone in my same position. There's nothing to debate or challenge here, despite your misread of my response. I am once again trying to keep the discussion focused on the issue I originally brought up, not tertiary issues like your (or others) assessments of my qualifications, which I chose not to share on a public message board for a number of reasons. I've already commissioned. Have a nice day.

You didn’t though. You could have just said you found a new recruiter and eventually went to MEPS but instead you went off the rails and went off on “proving the haters and the BS”. You made inaccurate claims.

Never in a million years would I have imagined I would have to tell a prospective PAO how to effectively communicate.

You misquoted me. And I'm not prospective PAO 😉
