I never got that with Marines, who cares what you wear off duty? I always laughed at all of the Marines who showed up in their civilian 'uniform' at bars and clubs, or T-shirts with a giant EGA or bulldog on it. Kind of defeats the purpose.......:eek:

The Marine officer "off duty" uniform, for both instructors and students here at Whiting consists of a pair of modest shorts, a knit polo neatly ironed and tucked into said shorts with a brown belt and, of course, the high and tight. You can see those guys coming a mile away down Duvall St.
