What degree should I get to become a pilot?

Yes, talk to thisguy. I believe he's an AMDO.

I used to be. Thank God I left that behind. It's "aviation related" but it's a lot of paperwork and administrative BS. It's also an unkind place if you're not prior enlisted, and you can't select it out of ROTC unless you're NPQ for unrestricted line, or you get a DUI and wreck your car and get your pilot slot taken away (I know a guy who did that)

As for what major? Sh!t, elementary ED. It's loaded with chicks, and once you get commissioned, your degree means two things: Jack and Sh!t, and Jack just left town.

It's gettin' a bit dramatic 'round here...

Hi I'm new here and I have a question about what college degree I should earn in order to be selected to be a pilot. If I join NROTC while I'm in college does it matter what kind of degree I should work toward?? I'm trying to narrow down my options then decide how I should pursue my goal of becoming a pilot.

Thanks,

Daniel

I would find the most difficult coolest sounding major and take that. It would look really good on your application. Don't sweat the 2.1 GPA you'll get, just remember how cool "Nuclear Aerospace Engineering" looks and sounds.

Seriously, it don't matter.

^ So yeah, I design nuclear powered airplanes.... So what do you say we go back to my place and... and that's about where engineering couth breaks off, and sweating/fidgeting starts.
