What NRC considers competitive

Hi everyone, wanting to gauge insight into how competitive my stats are for Supply Corps.

TIS: 6.5 Years/ LS1
Appraisals: 2 O6, CWO5, and 1 O5 all Supply(all 10s)
LOR: 1 O6(prior CO, not supply), 1 O5, 2 O4s
OAR: 42
GPA: BA in History/Pre-Law 2.6 & MA in Supply Chain Management 3.9
Evals: EP, EP, MP(welcome aboard)
2 waivers, 1 medical & 1 one for TIS

You need TIS and OAR waivers. Read the PA in terms of applicants needing more than one waiver.

Hello!

I plan on applying for the BDCP program for an SNA slot. I'm a senior which my recruiter says is fine, though I have seen some posts on here from a long time ago disagreeing. I was just curious to know if I've got a good chance for this November board or if I'll have to wait to graduate in May 2027 before applying again.

Age: 23
Degree: BS Mechanical Engineering (I've also got my AS in Engineering already)
GPA: 3.16
OAR: 64
ASTB: 9/9/9
Medical Waivers: 2 past surgeries and 1 for LASIK, approved the same week I applied for them.
Drug Use: Weed 1x 5 years ago
Flight Experience: 40 hours in a C172
Extra-Curricular/Prof: I've got 2.5 years of leadership experience in technical clubs and internships/full time positions

I know my GPA is the big thing holding me back, I failed out of the engineering program as a sophomore, went to a CC to get my AS where I got a 3.94, and then back to my old university where I've averaged a 3.4 since being back. I've reviewed the spreadsheet and other discussions here before but there's just not much recently about seniors applying for BDCP. Any clue as to my chances? Thanks in advance.

On paper yes you are eligible for BDCP but if boards are not taking place for a while, it’s possible you are simply “moved” to the regular OCS board or as an I-SEL since you’ll be within months of graduating.

It’s one of those situations where you won’t know until after the board likely. Your recruiter should be keeping you posted.

In the interim check out the stats and spreadsheet that you can find on the various board threads. Some BDCP stats are on there to help compare your stats to others.

Hey everyone, just wanting to gouge how competitive my package is as an SNA.

Age: 23
Edu: 3.2 GPA, BA in Economics
Flight Experience: Private Pilot with 65 Hours TT
OAR: 71
ASTB: 9/8/9
Medical: No medical waivers or issues
Extra Curricular: College Athlete (Baseball), Flight Clubs
Civ Job: Program Manager at Boeing

Was told my I-SEL kit was approved by QA and is now in the hands of NRC as of 10/06 (We were prepping for November board before getting my ASTB retake scores which were received on 10/05) , just wanted to understand how competitive my package is and what the chances are I get selected this year?

it's not a question of "if" but a "when"

I'm currently in my junior year of college pursuing a B.S. in Biology (3.67GPA) with 3 semesters left after the new year. My ASTB is 65 9/9/8 but I only have a discovery flight under my belt for flight experience. Medically I'm "pq'd for pilot" as my processor puts it but my recruiter says i'm medically fully cleared for the position. I don't have any non-medical waivers. For extracurriculars I played piano for 9 years doing recitals, volunteering for church, banquets, and did a competition where I got 3rd. My volunteering extends to Sacred Heart as well. Physically I'm in good shape, I've run a marathon and have a PR of 5:41min for the mile (both are listed on my APSR). My LoRs are all civilian with 2 being employers and 1 from piano teacher. My work experience has all been in leadership/training positions and my LoRs all rave about how good of a trainer/example I am. Below is my motivational statement and applicant remarks.

Sorry if this is TMI but if not I would also be open to sharing my LoRs as well in case it has a significant affect on my acceptance or not. Thanks!

You probably couldn't find somebody with these stats who didn't get in, excluding people whose extracurriculars involve kicking puppies or something. If they've got slots, you qualify for BDCP, and you don't have character issues, then you're in about as good of a spot to be accepted as you can be.
