Which watch?

Not sure about that. Rolex, Breitling and Omega with in house movements are top
of the line without getting into the mega stupid prices (in my opinion). I know Ball are good but I think they are a tier below. Similar to Bremont. I’d buy one if I was putting my daughter through dental school and renovating the house I have her in.

My everyday watch is my Omega X-33 Speedmaster...got it in a squadron buy back in 04. We did Naval Aviator wings rather than the squadron emblem. I recently got a TAG Link and really like. I wear that one for special occasions.

When I was deployed I wore a really expensive Timex Ironman. I'm pretty sure it cost $20 at the NEX. I lost one of them on my second deployment when a ship we were making runs to failed to sector their gizmo in a timely manner.

That's funny you say that. I love that watch and wore it through my first operational tour whenever I was flying/deployed. If I recall the wristband wore out well before the watch ever did. Ironically enough, I remember most of my friends wearing G-shocks and theirs constantly getting irreparably busted IVO the SPY radar approaching ships and I never once had that problem with the Timex Ironman.
