What makes this watch valuable or unique?
- It’s in almost NOS condition…including the correct bracelet and end links.
- It’s a 321 caliber.
- It has a full set of box & papers.
Maybe $8000 to $20,000….but never $72,000! But to be fair, there is a fool born every day.
Yeppers…and it’s weird…over at the gemcitygems site, it’s listed for around $50,000.
I’ll tell you, though…the value of that watch goes up exponentially due to its condition [which is phenomenal] and the presence of the full set of box & papers. Many [if not most] collectors only care about the watch head itself…but that is the FULL package…and there are some collectors out there that will pay a [BIG] premium for the FULL package. Personally, I would not want a watch like that because I’d be afraid to wear it and use it...I don’t collect safe queens…I use my watches. If that watch was worn at all, it was probably only a few times…the condition is pretty amazing.

…double dogging it with a 1861 and a 3861 for this Speedy Tuesday…both on Omega polyamide NATOs…
