I'm not a fan of metal bracelets since owning my only metal bracelet watch, a Glycine GMT 2000...I don't like the way they feel on the wrist (moves around too much)...I do, however, like the way they look. The Moonwatch comes in an awesome factory box. @mad dog , why not the bracelet version? It still comes with your beloved NATO and NASA Velcro straps.

Happy Speedy Tuesday!
Googled the Moonwatch the other day out of boredom . . . when did the price go up? $2000 hike in 3 years? It's like $5K for one new now; I thought I recalled them going for like $3K.

Additionally, the price hike regarding the Moonwatch could be partially attributed to the implementation of the Moonwatch presentation box set which happened about 3 years ago. The Moonwatch presentation box set includes two additional bands [nylon NATO, replica NASA strap], spring bar tool, extra spring bars, loupe, medallion, historical book, instructional book as well as the owners manual and warranty/pictogram cards in a wallet...not to mention the big ass box and outer box/sleeve. The Moonwatch presentation box set became the standard issue Moonwatch configuration...prior to that, the Moonwatch was issued in a much smaller red box without all the accessories. The Moonwatch presentation box set [without the Moonwatch] is available from Omega for about $700 - $800...so based on that, I believe that could contribute to the price hike.Googled the Moonwatch the other day out of boredom . . . when did the price go up? $2000 hike in 3 years? Non believer! That's way too much for a watch, even if it's been to the moon. I got mine from some nice guy for 12BD.

That's a Skywalker. But having compared one side by side with my Gen2 X33 that I bought in a group buy here, they are very similar. To the point that I wondered if you could switch out the parts to make a Gen2 a Skywalker.

I have easier, fewer and cheaper choices. I really groove on watch winders...machines that keep the machines running...good times!View attachment 17795 Choices...choices....the hardest part of getting ready....which watch...
