Which watch?

Anyone have the latest shipping address and/or point of contact at Omega to get a mil group buy X-33 serviced?

They’ll fully service it for free correct?

Can I take to a boutique in person?

Engage an authorized dealer and they will take care of you.

Looking back on a few of the pictures from my recent trip this is one of my favorites.

While we were touring the bridge the Skipper arrived and introduced himself. After giving us a tour of the bridge he called me out saying "Nice watch." He was wearing his GEN 2 X-33 with a squadron engraved case back. He asked if I was a watch guy and then we each slipped off our watches and exchanged them with each other to check out the engravings. This is now my official "So this is no shit, there I was..." watch story.😆

Also, what respectable watch guy would only take one watch on a trip like this?

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous heading out to a carrier on December 7th thinking about one of my favorite movies The Final Countdown. I asked a carrier CO friend of mine if we would be ready if shit got real and the time hole opened up. He assured me the Skipper would know what to do.👍

Only a few days left on vacation, therefore, continued goofing off is paramount…headed to the gym with double dog Speedmasters [1861 and 3861] on Omega polyamide NATOs. Due to the presence of USNA and NROTC students who attend the gym while home on break, they need to be reminded that AOCS football is UNDEFEATED. Also, they most likely are wearing crappy watches [if any watches at all] and need to be reminded that Speedmasters are the most bestest watches in the galaxy…

Stopped by the Omega store at Tysons Galleria to drop off the X-33 for service, she's been jumping 5 secs for a few months and about a year ago the crown stopped working. Unfortunately it will take 'about 6 months' to get done?! I don't remember it taking that long last time.

The store itself was very nice and the customer service was excellent but I found it interesting that only three customers with a guest or two were allowed in at one time, with a security guard blocking access when that limit was reached. The store was only the second store inside one of the main entrances but I still found it interesting, along with the armed security guard across the hall at the jewelry store who looked quite serious.

Of course I did a little browsing and thought some of the Seamasters looked nice, with my favorite being $16,000, and they also had a 'Silver Snoopy' 50th Anniversary Speedmaster on display too, for $11,000. Maybe a retirement gift to myself?

The turnaround on my recent Speedy service was 4.5 months.

Omega boutiques are locked down. They don't want chitter chatter, only transactions. No swag. They could care less about brand promotion.Rolex is no different.
