1Nov2021 SNA/SNFO Board

He said the board was pushed to Monday November 21st, and to not expect final results until at the earliest right before Christmas but more likely January. He mentioned that another applicant was pushed from a March class date to January so don’t expect to ship for a full year. Love my recruiter but I’m hoping and thinking that he confused Nov21 as the November 1st 2021 board date rather than November 21st 2021 but he was pretty adamant that it was pushed to the 21st. From everything on this site I think he made a simple mistake but hoping @exNavyOffRec or someone else can double check me on this because January is feeling very far away.
The list of who was pushed was published, no one on the list was pushed to January, most were July, then August, and so on until Oct and early Nov.

Edit: it is possible the board did move due to people on travel or leave, in that case the board schedule would not be updated and no date would be sent out, when that happens recruiters rarely hear about it. The results just come out later than normal. It is also possible NRC is busy adjusting other OCS dates and just hasn't had a chance to do there part for the aviation board.

Patience is key.

If bad idea fairies were real, that is what they would say. Don't listen to the bad idea fairy.

or

"basically get a commission" which means you will get auto advanced to E-4 and then spend the next 6 years wondering what happened.

Yeah thats why I’m iffy on that path. He just mentioned it but we haven’t discussed it ny further.

I have a mechanical engineering technology degree with a 3.01 gpa. And I’m trying to find my old SAT scores but if I remember correctly I had like a 1700 or a 1660 on my SATs
