Stay away from taxi services with no lisence number on driver's door. The most tricky motherfuckers in East Europe: quite could take you to neighbour street at a price of trip from Prague to Vienna:) Otherwise very nice place, beer is cheaper than Coca-cola and advise to walk over Vltava river by the bridges

The only time that fucking Baltiysk (former German Pillau) main naval base was to offer the berth to aircraft carrier, the VSTOL Kyiv in 1983, the ship, despite being skippered by Capt Pykov, probably the best surface ship skipper in Soviet Navy, stood outside the harbor having just 4 meters of water under her keel. Baltic Sea is extremely shallow pool of nearly fresh water with no notable tidal flows, no strong currents, no place to operate the ships larger than mere frigate

Significantly, the Czechs have held onto "annexed" Kaliningrad for longer than the Russians maintained control of their recently annexed Ukrainian territories. Moreover, new international development money is pouring in. Recently, BeerStream II was proposed between Kralovec and Prague.

Railways ceased the ticket sells both ways to Crimea and back, airports closed from Feb 24th, so the only way to\from Crimea now is through seized Ukranian south by regional roads. Nearly all of them are within HIMARS range at least partially. The way back home for them will be kinda old good frontier stagecoach story.

Though it is unclear has the bridge been hit or this is just accident since the truck reportedly exploded on the bridge while enroute Crimean direction was with RU number plates from the city of Krasnodar, with cargo of tomatoes. Which kind of tomatoes that may break the bridge apart is not reported

So in October 2022, whats the view of probable end-game? Stalemate? Will there be a political and military collapse in Russia? Are we seeing another 1991?Is the Russian Federation seeing Stage IV of a disease?

I've been thinking about best case, worst case, and most likely case.

Best case: palace coup with Putin sleeping with the fishes, replacement figures out some face-saving move worked back channel with Ukraine
Worst case: Tactical nukes fly, and who knows where that goes.
Most Likely case: Somewhere between hot war and Korean DMZ level of eternal conflict

Just spitballing.

Not sure what breaks this conflict. Putin being replaced isn't very likely to result in more reasonable Russian leadership.

Rather something chemical or biological. And next kremlin occupant will be more crazy and unstable. That is why sooner or later there will be war defeat, since this breed is unable to adjust to modern world.
